Far East Odyssey

Mar 15, 2017

I have just recently returned back from an amazing 9 day educational to Singapore and Malaysia. This was the perfect opportunity to see destinations that have been so popular with our fellow clients.

On Saturday 25th February I flew from Sydney to Singapore, an 8.5 hour flight on Singapore Airline’s A380 aircraft. I was surprised to see this airline still offered the hot towel service both upon take-off and landing, along with both local and western cuisine. The flight wouldn’t have been complete without trying the iconic Singapore Sling!

Singapore is one of the cleanest, greenest and busiest cities in the world. The lion city has many cultures and nationalities from all over the world. On average every 2-3 minutes a ship arrives or leaves Singapore daily, with about 1,000 vessels in Singapore harbour at one time.

Singapore is in fact a small city where you can travel anywhere taking you no longer than 45 minutes, any further and you’ve reached the boarder of Malaysia!

The government encourages its locals and tourist to take public transport to prevent congestion on roads. So much that an average price for a new vehicle is $101,000 – more of a luxury than necessity!
