Explorer of the Seas Ship Inspection

Dec 01, 2016

Royal Caribbean's Explorer of the Seas is home to an array of exciting innovations. Climb a rock wall that overlooks the sea, or find your adventure on the basketball court, ice-skating rink or mini-golf course. If it's zen you seek, achieve it poolside or at the relaxing Vitality Spa.

The Royal Promenade is a hive of activity with live parades, cafes, and duty-free shopping deals. The Main dining hall is three-story with formal themed evenings.

Explorer is a genuine floating resort with 15 decks, 10 pools and whirlpools, and 15 bars, lounges and clubs. Like Voyager, which underwent an $80 million refit, Explorer now has a FlowRider surfing simulator, a 3D movie theatre and interior staterooms with real-time virtual balconies offering live views of the sea.

The revamp included three new speciality restaurants — Chops Grille steakhouse, Giovanni’s Table and Izumi Japanese cuisine. These restaurants are in addition to the famous American style diner Johnny Rockets.

The main complimentary dining option is the Windjammer; the ship’s buffet restaurant on deck 11 adjacent to the pool zones.

Promenade Staterooms have bowed windows overlooking the Royal Promenade, creating an interior room with a view
