Between the 23rd – 28th November 2018 we had the pleasure of hosting 114 ecruising.travel POSH Club members on our annual POSH Club members cruise onboard the Ovation of the Seas for a 5 night voyage to Hobart departing from Sydney. Joining our members was the Owner and Founder of ecruising.travel, Mr Brett Dudley, his wife Philippa and a number of staff members from our office.Our members were treated to a number of special exclusive events both onboard and off ship during the cruise.
On the second evening onboard, the 24th November, we were joined by our members at a private cocktail party hosted onboard Ovation of the Seas which was a great success and enjoyed by all. This gave our members a chance to mingle with each other as well as the ecruising.travel team and we were also able to recognise some of our loyal members with awards on the night.
Included for our members onboard during the cruise was a specialty dining experience hosted by the ecruising.travel team at either Wonderland, Chops Grille or Jamie’s Italian restaurant. This provided our members with the opportunity to sample some of the fantastic food on offer at these specialty dining venues onboard in the company of fellow POSH Club members. These dinners proved to be great evenings with our members tables the last to leave the restaraunts most nights!
Our port of call on this cruise was Hobart, Tasmania where the ship was docked overnight to give guests plenty of time to experience the unique and often overlooked charm of the city and its sorrounds.
Our exclusive off ship event was a visit to the world renowned MONA Hobart, one of the main attractions in Tasmania. We were transported from the city centre to MONA by ferry along the River Derwent, once at MONA our members had the chance to experience the art museum before making their way up to our private cocktail party. The room was opened up to the lawn area outside and provided a perfect setting for the afternoon. All members had a wonderful afternoon sampling the local wine and beer which is created on site as well as some of the best local produce from the area in a fantastic setting before being escorted by ferry back to the city centre.
Our 2018 POSH Club members cruise was a great success and we are already looking forward to our 2019 POSH Club members cruise onboard the Majestic Princess.
