The onboard experience was a thrill from start to finish! We couldn't get enough of the water slides in the WaterWorks Waterpark - racing down those slides with the ocean as a backdrop was exhilarating. For a change of pace, we found the wellness areas like the Cloud 9 Spa and the gym to be the perfect spots to recharge. Whether it was a morning workout overlooking the sea or an afternoon massage, the wellness offerings helped us feel rejuvenated throughout the trip.
Dining was another highlight. The speciality restaurants on Carnival Jubilee are phenomenal. From fresh sushi at Bonsai Sushi to perfectly cooked steaks at Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse, every meal was a delight. I would also highly recommend the Brewery tour, another fascinating and fun experience to learn all about how Carnival brew their own beer aboard.
Endless Entertainment and Productions
From the moment we boarded, we were blown away by the sheer variety of entertainment available every day. The theme nights were so much fun - everyone dresses up and gets into the spirit of the evening. Whether it's an 80s disco night or an elegant night, you can feel the energy throughout the ship. The productions onboard are also spectacular, with Broadway-style musicals that rival anything you'd see on land. Each night, we looked forward to what was next - from dazzling performances to shows that had the whole audience singing and dancing along.
One of our favourite spots was the Punchliner Comedy Club. The comedians kept us in stitches with their stand-up routines, and the fact that there are family-friendly shows and adult-only ones meant there was something for every mood. If you love laughing until your sides hurt, this is the place to be!
Incredible Shore Excursions
The shore excursions were equally unforgettable. In Roatan, we spent the day aboard a catamaran where we swam, snorkelled, and even dove into the crystal-clear waters. The atmosphere was filled with energy and laughter as we sang and danced with the crew and fellow guests. Taking in the stunning views from the water was like a dream, and the snorkelling gave us a chance to see vibrant marine life up close. It was the perfect mix of adventure and fun.
In Costa Maya, we indulged in one of the best meals of our lives - seafood ceviche by the beach. The freshness of the seafood, combined with the breathtaking views of the coast, made for an incredible afternoon of relaxation. There's something magical about enjoying fresh ceviche while feeling the ocean breeze and gazing out at the beautiful blue waters.
In Cozumel, we had a hands-on cooking and tasting experience that immersed us in the local flavours. Learning how to make authentic Mexican dishes was fascinating, and sitting down to enjoy them afterward was even better! It gave us a deeper appreciation for the rich culinary traditions of the region.
Sea Days and Unwinding
On sea days, there was nothing better than kicking back in the adults-only pool area, soaking up the sun, and chatting with fellow travellers over a cocktail (or three!). The adults-only section provided a peaceful retreat, perfect after a day of excitement during shore excursions. The sense of community on board was amazing - everyone was friendly, and exchanging travel stories with other guests added to the whole experience.

And of course, I can't rave enough about the service on the ship. The staff truly went above and beyond, making sure every aspect of our stay was perfect. It's the personalised attention and genuine warmth from the crew that sets Carnival cruises apart, and this trip was no different.
